It's 12:02 am, which means it is officially my sweet husband's birthday! This post is all about him! Here are 27 fun facts about my best friend. :) 

1. He has one younger sister. 

2. His favorite cake is Red Velvet. (Specifically Red Velvet from Nothing Bundt Cake.)

3. He attended the same private school from 2nd grade-senior year. 

4. His favorite sport is soccer. (He totally has sexy soccer legs.:P)

5. He enjoys watching UFC fights and playing his Xbox. 

6. He is hard-working and loved by many. 

7. He is patient. 

8. He taught Elementary school for 5 years and 4 of those years were at the same school that he graduated from! 

9. He's played football, basketball, and soccer. 

10. He is amazing with children... I've never seen children gravitate so much toward any other person. 

11. His favorite color is purple. 

12. His favorite soda is the glass bottle coca cola. 

13. His favorite food is Thai. 

14. He prefers salty over sweet. 

15. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from UNLV. Go Rebs! 

16. He loves college sports. (Go Rebs again.)

17. His least favorite sport is baseball. 

18. He hates pistachios and avocados. (Weird. I'm convinced his taste buds don't work.) 

19. He is a great cook, without ever really trying... 

20. He is great with electronics. (really a life-saver for me more often than not.) 

21. His favorite candy is chocolate covered gummy bears and Australian licorice.

22. He has really nice penmanship.

23. He is still great friends with his MS/HS friends! 

24. Some of his favorite TV shows are: The Office, Shark Tank, The Voice, King of the Hill, and Saved by the Bell. 

25. He bites his nails. (terrible habit.)

26. He attempted to go Vegan once... don't think that'll happen again. 

27. He forgives quickly and genuinely. (oh how I strive to be better at that.)

I have loved you before I ever met you (in person) and love you more than I ever thought I could love anyone. It has been such a blessing to have spent the last five of your birthdays with you, celebrating your life. You are my best friend and the love of my life. I cannot thank God enough for you and am eternally grateful to be your wife.

Welcome.

Hello! 

I've been thinking about starting a blog for quite a while and finally decided to jump into it! So here it is! I guess I'll start with a quick introduction and a little about my family and I! 

I have been happily married to my husband of almost five years, Matthew! We lived in Las Vegas, (where he was born and raised) for about 4 1/2 years and recently moved to Oklahoma City, OK. We have two pups, that I'm sure you'll see plenty of photos of, named Achilles (an Olde English Bulldog) and Perseus (a Cowboy Corgi). 

Here are a few hopes for what this blog will become:

-Lifestyle. Documenting our journey as husband/wife for us to look back on or to share with our families. This will include random posts about love, life, faith, and anything else that life throws my (our) way. :P

-DIY projects. I love doing things hands on. 

-Crafts. Whatever projects I do in my spare time as a homemaker. 

-Food. I didn't actually learn to cook until my husband and I got married. I am still very much a newbie in the kitchen, but am learning and growing each year! I hope to share some of our tried and true favorite recipes! 

-Photos. A couple of years ago, we bought DSLR cameras and I desperately miss using it! I'm hoping this outlet will help me utilize my camera much more! 

I am sooooo excited to share bits and pieces of our life with you and to see how this blog unfolds!
